Join members of Run Fit running club as we take on the Cap City Half Marathon on Saturday, April 25th, 2020. To join our team, register for the race at https://capitalcityhalfmarathon.com and be sure to select Run Fit Running Club as your team name. Cap City Half And Quarter Marathon, Commit To Be Fit 5k training is FREE:

Starting Saturday January, 11, 2020, we will be kicking off our group runs for the Cap City half and quarter marathon. Once you join our training group, you will have access to our training plans and training resources. We have Cap City training plans for all race day distances, and experience levels. We also have plans with built in cross training strength days, or without.  Each training plan has been written by our USATF/RRCA certified running coaches.

We will have additional training clinics throughout the training season to discuss fueling and hydration, injury prevention, gear, speed and endurance training basically EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW to take on a half marathon, quarter marathon or the Commit to Be Fit 5k.

About the Author Steve

Steve Carmichael is the Club Director for Run Fit and is a USA Track and Field / RRCA certified running coach. He has been a resident of Lewis Center since 1998 and resides in the Village of Alum Creek subdivision with his wife Jackie. Steve has coached runners locally and online since 2011. Since 2014 he has been the host of the RunBuzz podcast and founder of the PaceBuilders Training System.
